Medium-Size trucking companies, particularly those who have not been in existence for extremely long, will typically discover it difficult to secure a loan. Banks are typically reluctant to lend cash to companies that do not have a lot of income and assets. They also desire evidence of the viability of a company and thus need that the majority of operations, particularly little ones, be in business for a particular amount of time prior to they want to hand over any money. Due to the fact that of this, a small business frequently has few cash generating options when requires occur. One option offered, but frequently neglected, is factoring. This is an outstanding way for a small business to obtain cash.

How to Get Cash And Grow Your Company - Select A Receivable Loan C0mpany Instead Of A Regular Bank Financing

Exactly how to Enhance Money Flow Without Loaning -Cash Money flow is among the main reasons companies fail.

At one time or another, every business, even successful ones, have experienced poor cash flow.

Cash flow does not have to be a problem any ever more. Do not be fooled -- banks are not the only locations you can get funding. Other solutions are available and you do not have to borrow. What is truck factoring ? One option is called truck factoring. Trucking Factoring is the procedure of selling invoices to an investor rather than waiting to collect the cash from the customer. Oh, the Irony- Trucking factoring has a paradoxical difference: It is the financial foundation of many of America's most effective businesses. Why is this ironic ? Because receivable loan funding is not taught in business colleges, is rarely discussed in business plans and is relatively unidentified to bulk of most of American company individuals.

Yet it is a financial process that releases up billions of dollars every year, allowing countless businesses to grow and prosper. Staffing Factoring has actually been around for countless years. FACTORING Businesses are investors who pay cash for the right to receive the future payments on your invoices. An overdue receivable or invoice has value. It is a financial obligation your client has agreed pay in the near future. Factoring Principals--Although factoring deals exclusively with business-to-business transactions, a large percentage of the retail business uses a factoring principal. MasterCard, Visa, and American Express all use a form of factoring in their retail deals. Using the purest definition of the word, these big consumer finance business are really simply big Accounts Receivable Factoring Companies of consumer paper. Think about it: You make a purchase at Sears and charge it to your MasterCard. The shop makes money almost immediately, even though you do not make payment up until you are prepared.

For this service, the charge card business charges XYZ Store a fee (typical common normal charges range from two to 4 percent of the sale). The Advantages Receivable Funding can provide many benefits to cash-hungry companies. Rather than wait 30, 60, 90 days or longer for payment on an item that has actually already been provided, a company can factor (sell) its receivables for money at a small discount off the dollar value of the invoice. Payroll, advertising efforts, and working capital are just a few of the company requirements that can be met with instant  money.

Commercial Factoring offers the ways for a producer to replenish stock and make even more products to sell: There is no longer a requirement to wait for earlier sales to be paid. FACTORING is not just a cash management device for manufacturers: Practically any type business can benefit from Receivable Funding. Generally, a company that extends credit will have 10 to 20 percent of its yearly sales bound in accounts receivable at any given time. Think for a minute about exactly how much is tied up in 60 days' worth of invoices: You can not pay the power expense or this week s payroll with a client s invoice, but you can sell that invoice for the money to satisfy those obligations. Using trucking factoring companies is a quick and simple procedure. The factor purchases the invoice at a price cut, usually a few percentage points less than the stated value of the invoice.

"The Bureau of Economic Analysis estimates that Nevada's total state product in 2010 was $126billion. Resort areas like Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Laughlin attract visitors from around the nation and world. In FY08 the total of 266 casinos with gaming revenue over $1m for the year, brought in revenue of $12billion in gaming revenue, and $13billion in non-gaming revenue. Many of the high plateau areas are excellent for grazing, and cattle and sheep raising are important industries. Although copper mining is now much less dominant than before, Nevada is the nation's leading producer of gold, silver, and mercury. Petroleum, diatomite, and other minerals are also extracted. The state's manufactures include gaming machines and products, aerospace equipment, lawn and garden irrigation devices, and seismic monitoring equipment. Warehousing and trucking are also significant Nevada industries.Nevada's economy, however, is overwhelmingly based on tourism, especially the gambling (legalized in 1931) and resort industries centered in Las Vegas and, to a lesser extent, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Gambling taxes are a primary source of state revenue. The service sector employs about half of Nevada's workers. Liberal divorce laws made Reno ""the divorce capital of the world"" for many years, but similar laws enacted in other states ended this distinction. Much of Nevada (almost 80% of whose land is federally owned) is given over to military and related use. Nellis Air Force Base and the Nevada Test Site have been the scene of much nuclear and aircraft testing; Yucca Mountain is slated to be the primary depository for U.S. nuclear waste."

Collins Truck and Haul has been in business since the mid 1980s. For more than twenty years they've been delivering goods for most major industries in the nation, with business booming as they traversed the country, in all kinds of weather, for all kinds of clients. During the heady times from 2002 to 2007, Collins was a top rated accounts receivable mastermind of the trucking industry. Very few customers were behind on their bills, and those customers who were late turned in their overdue payments within an acceptable time frame. Times were great for everyone, and the cash was flowing. It was just one year later, in 2008, when the economy in the United States took a sharp decline, and both large and small businesses started to notice the squeeze on their pocketbooks: everyone had suddenly gone silent. Business slowed down. And worse yet, Collins had noticed during the early part of 2008 that though the bulk of their clients were always on time with payments, the few late-bloomers there were, had seemingly started to spread this illness. And as spring turmed to summer and summer into the early days of fall, Roger Phillips, CEO of Collins felt a chill go down his spine whenever he would look at the weekly A/R reports. The numbers of clients who owed him back debt were growing. He had gone to his administrators and asked them what the problem had been. Were they doing something wrong or different when it came to reaching out to delinquent accounts? By his bookkeepers records, this wasn't the case. He thought perhaps that he was losing clients to a competitor who offered rock-bottom prices with little to no guarantee of quality performance, and that the folks who owed Collins money had jumped ship and decided to leave him holding the bag.

. They could not afford to pay him their debt, but they could afford a lesser service, maybe. So he did the necessary research and, after discussions with friends in the same field, he realised that no, his customers hadn't gone anywhere else. The had just gone!.This current state-of-affairs was causing Roger Phillips to have some very restless nights. There were goods to ship, employees to pay, trucks to repair and maintain, and continuous overheads that were very extensive when compared to the funds (or lack of) that were incoming. At night he would speak to his wife Diane and shake his head in frustration.

""Lin, I have a really bad feeling,"" he would say with deep woe.""What could you do differently?"" she would say.Roger would stare off for a moment and then close eyes. In his mind he could clearly see the fleet of trucks purchased over the many years. He could see them traveling, bringing goods to all of his clients. But somewhere, a haze would form over his fleet and the vast number of vehicles would disappear to but a few. What could cause this ultimate death spiral of business?""I think I know what it could be,"" Roger said. ""For way too long I've been relying solely on profits received from invoices. For too long I've been allowing our clients to let their accounts become overdue."" Linda could only grab her husband's hand and look at him lovingly, ""it is a hard economy. It might be awhile until things get settled up.

""Roger knew very well that Diane was only trying to help, but his responsibilities weighed heavily on his shoulders and he knew he had better do something soon to resolve this situation. The next day Roger strolled into his office and was determined to sit down and make every phone call to every client who had owed Collins money. Now, it wasn't the most efficient way to spend a day as a chief executive, what he really needed to be doing was to be overseeing all of the other intricacies of shipment and delivery and reaching out to prospective clients or retraining his sales team to do the same. But, he felt like he was doing something proactive to help his business, even though he had staff on salary to do just that thing. A waste of time - a waste of money - he had the best intentions, but all the while Roger was realising just how much trouble he was in.After a half day of contacting debtors in vain - they dodged his calls or promised to call back at worst or made minimal interest-only payments at best - he was about to throw in the towel when his secretary Wilmaerley knocked at his door.

""Roger, can I have a word?"" she queried, standing in the doorway.

""Of course Wilma, please come in."" Roger relaxed back into his chair and looked up at Wilmaerley.""Well, I did a little searching this afternoon and tried to figure out a way out of this mess Roger."" She pulled a small stack of papers from a folder and set them on the desk before him.""Have you ever heard of factoring?"" Wilmaerley asked.""It sounds vaguely familiar. What is factoring""? he asked.""Well,"" she began, ""Its actually quite simple really.

So basically, factoring invoices would enable us to get paid on the nose for loads that we haul.""Roger interrupted ""Immediately?"".""Yes, immediately,"" she continued, ""In a nutshell, it is pretty easy. We start by having a professional account manager review our figures and help us set up a company profile. That profile will also include investigating our accounts receivable aging reports, our existing customer credit limits and so on. In addition, factoring will assist in determining our customers' creditworthiness, independent from their credit relationship with our company. Its a broad view.""I see, Roger said. And then what?""Following the completion of their review and once we have been approved for a contract with the factoring company, then we sit down to negotiate conditions and terms. Theres a lot of flexibility depending on the business volume and credit histories. This company tells us what the cost will be to purchase factoring for our accounts receivable. We come to an agreement and the funding starts pouring out.Roger was still a little concerned. He leaned forward in his chair and studied the paperwork very closely.""I do not know, Wilma - it just sounds too good to be true"", Roger said quietly.""Yes, I know; that's exactly what I thought at the beginning. But really, they have guaranteed us experts that do all the legwork, which would free us up here to focus on our clients in good standing and marketing, all that good stuff. And they're flexible Roger,"" she drew a circle around a paragraph on the document before him.""Just how flexible?"" he asked.""It seems that they personalize their factoring charges so that the amount they're prepared to work with is commensurate with our client's debt and our needs. It only takes 2 to 4 days for this to be figured out. ""It does all sound pretty good, remembering that we are all tapped out now with loans from the bank last year to repair vehicles, and we all know just how tight money is. We need to keep business rolling as normal and every day were going unpaid, were closer to facing some serious problems in both the short and long term,"" Roger said.He took a deep breath and looked at his secretary with something she recognized as hope.""Precisely. This could very well be the answer to resolving the problems we are having with these clients who still owe us money.""Roger took a moment to think about this solution, and agreed with his secretary. The customers who were in debt to Collins Truck & Haul were professional resources of the company, but they were also long-standing friends. Roger wasn't prepared to lose these relationships just because they were having financial issues at the moment. Roger knew only too well that the whole economy was floundering, and that it was not going to change overnight. That unknown amount of time could create a disaster situation for both of them if he wasn't careful in how these debtors were handled. Of course he did not want to lose any more money, but he did not want to lose business either.""Well, let me think about this tonight Wilma, thank you."" Wilma nodded, satisfied with her work, and she left the office feeling quite content in the knowledge that she had helped Roger keep the shirt on his back, and possibly hers too.Roger stayed at his desk for a long time, looking over the details they hadn't discussed during their meeting. He wondered if there might be other problems freight factoring could help Collins Truck & Haul with? With his pencil gliding down the sheet he noticed that the factoring company could help fray the cost of fuel with fuel discount cards and fuel advances. In fact, Collins could receive up to fifty-percent cash advances upon load pick-ups. Roger was a typical business man: he despised binding contracts that did not allow room to breathe, so he was pleasantly surprised to see that the factoring company did not require a long term contract, that there was no minimum volume required, and that there were no sign-up fees.""Well, I'll have to tell Roberto about this,"" Roger muttered to himself. His son-in-law Roberto had liked the idea of Collins so much and revered his father in law for having such business acumen that only two years before, he had gathered the venture capital to begin his own transportation service company. At that time Roger knew the struggles Roberto would face, but he still encouraged him to follow his dream. With the faltering economy, if a big fish like Collins was hurting, a little guy like Roberto was about to catch his death. But, an antidote may have been found in freight factoring and Roger was soon to find out. Some months later, having successfully gone through the entire process of the application, having experts study his credit history and statements and review his accounts receivable, Roger found that he was starting his journey out of the despair which had been created for him by his delinquent account holders. They took on reasonable factoring purchase contracts and stopped spending their precious man hours scrambling to collect debt. They took that time and refocused effort to offering competitive prices in new territories. Roger recalled those dismal months when he wasn't aware of freight factoring, and he shuddered at those memories. If Roger hadn't discovered freight factoring at just the right time, his business may not be operating today.

The Future of a Trucking Company, and Factoring Lloyd Dunn let the phone ring on his desk. He let his morning coffee cool and left his cigarette to ash itself in the tray, because he is trying to make the biggest decision ever for his trucking company. Dunn Trucking Company was at a turning point of growth and Lloyd had to decide if signing with a factoring company was the right way forward.

More than forty years ago Lloyd's father had started this business working as an owner-operator and eventually growing Dunn Trucking Company into a fifteen trailer fleet. Yes, they had survived some very difficult times when it appeared like they might go under, and even Lloyd's mother had jumped into the cab at times to make hauls. His father had worked long enough to see the price of hires drop dramatically during the recession and to see the explosion of fuel prices afterwards. But now things were different: the company was in Lloyd's hands and he needed to ensure that this business would be left in great shape for his sons.

There just never seemed to be enough money to go around, and certainly no spare cash, but to move his company successfully into the future he needed a steady and reliable cash flow. He had employees to pay. They all have families and the usual household bills. A few of the refrigerated trailers really needed some maintenance, and in order to stay competitive he really wanted to invest in specialized haulers to meet the increasing requests for loads of agricultural and energy equipment. He knew that turning down these requests made Dunn Trucking look inefficient and weak in what was currently a strong market.

His father would have told him to wait and to take his time adding on new technology. Lloyd allowed himself a good hard chuckle. He remembered when his father was totally against installing GPS units in the cabs. His Dad would say ""Why on earth do you need some stranger telling you to get off the exit that everyone knows has been there for years? He smiled to himself as he remembered his father poking fun at the other drivers who switched to automatic, even though automatic was quite obviously more efficient (though less manly). His father days were long gone and technology was actually an important improvement for the business such as having Qualcomm to cut down on fruitless time communicating on the phone for bills of lading.

Lloyd believed a successful man is always thinking of his next step. What would be the next step for Dunn Trucking? And how would he be able to afford it? Business funding was tied up in fuel bills and the mortgage for the garage and office. He just finished paying off the small bank loan for installing satellite radio in the trucks for the guys.

But was factoring the answer? There was a lot he didnt understand about the process. It sounded a lot like ninth grade algebra which just didnt feel like it belonged as part of the trucking business. A factoring company actually purchases your invoices and takes control of your accounts receivable, payment being a certain percentage of the amount invoiced. In return, the factoring company pays the trucking business straight away, providing immediate cash flow for the business to pay staff, purchase fuel, and do any repairs or maintenance. Without the assistance of factoring, you have to wait for customers to send you the payment which is often 30 days late. During those thirty days the trucking company cannot pay its employees and bills with invoices.

Now it was time for Lloyd to do his homework. He had heard of companies charging for same day money transfers, advancing a percentage of the money owed to your business, while the rest is held in a private account if the bill wasn't paid within sixty or more days. Plus it was worse still if the customer didnt pay up at all because then the factoring company would take it right out of the money supposed to be coming to you! He'd even heard about some companies putting you onto a sliding percentage scale regardless of any previously signed contracts for possibly 3% or 7%, and there you are now with 10% coming as a charge to you out of the freight bill. His friend Ronnie who had a trucking business in Missouri, was run nearly into the ground by a factoring company that charged him the full freight bill on top of the factoring fees. He knew he would have to be very careful if he was to avoid any of these shady companies?

But it turned out to be quite easy. All the factoring companies he researched were open about their business practices and very friendly on the phone when he called. Their customer service actually knew things about their company and spoke in nice clear English so he could understand what was being explained. He didnt mind signing an exclusive contract. He liked the idea of a long term commitment so he knew he wouldnt have to bother going back and forth to different companies and wasting time filing more forms. Nobody charged him for credit checks and they offered him a fuel advance on the pick-up of the load. Many companies offered a non-recourse factoring program that suited him just fine. Also he was happy to hear how much he was offered in terms of percentages on the freight bills. It was good money.

It was really refreshing dealing with the factoring people. They were extremely helpful and more personable than the bank staff. It seemed as though those bank people spoke another language, but these factoring guys knew the trucking business and spoke to him like a client, not like a beggar for a handout. The factoring companies were not interested in his credit nor the financial problems his father had experienced in the past. All the factoring company was interest in was the credit of his customers and on their reliability: this worked great for Lloyd because he and his father had created a very strong and loyal list of clientele over the years. He knew immediately that there would not be any problems when they were contacted by the factoring company regarding their invoices. His clients would not have any problems, nor would they think poorly of Dunn Trucking, because the factoring companies handle themselves in such a polite and professional manner, similar to the way his father had managed the business in the past.

Feeling happier now, Lloyd stepped out of his office to advise his secretary to expect to receive the contract very shortly from the factoring company. There was a new bounce is his step now: he knew instinctively that this new step would raise the future of his company to a new and higher level, and that all the stress from the past could now be put behind him. With the capabilities of this new cash flow, Lloyd could actually expand Dunn Trucking Company further across the country and perhaps even go international into Canada. He was a happy man again knowing that he had just made a decision which would guarantee the success of his business and his sons would not be inheriting a financial mess.

"

So It is not a loan? Miguel Henderson asked as he leaned back in his chair, crossing his legs. The woman who sat across the desk smiled and shook her head. Not quite, she said.Miguel Henderson owned a small trucking company, and his business had recently fallen on difficult times. Certainly the trucking business can be an extremely profitable venture, and for many years it had been that way for Timothy. He named his business Ferguson Trucking, named after Guy and Dustin, his two grandfathers. Both of these men had been very hardworking and had set a great example for Timothy.Six months ago disaster struck Timothy's business when two out of his fleet of fifteen trucks were taken off the road.

One was involved in a very costly accident, and the other simply rolled over, and headed to the trucking graveyard. The financial security of Timothy's company relied on his full fleet on fifteen being on the road, and missing two trucks was just devastating . In addition, he just did not have the available cash to buy a new truck, plus repair the other one.A big problem a lot of trucking companies came across was how bills were paid in the industry. You could go a month or more before bills were completely paid off. In the long run, this wasnt an issue, but if problems arose, you could find yourself in trouble.Miguel wasnt a bad owner, and he hadnt messed up. Certain events had occurred that he could not possibly have predicted, and now he had to find a way to protect his business and prevent it from ultimate devastation.Thats where the woman across the desk came in. Miguel knew she was employed by a Factoring company and that her name was Felicia. Miguel had come across her company as he sat in his office late one night, pouring over the internet for some solution to his problem long after his employees had gone home. She sat there now, and explained. it is really not a loan at all: we actually buy your accounts receivable. We arent giving you money to be paid back later, were buying something from you, and you can buy it back when you can. That way were protected from a complete loss, but youre protected from the outrageous fees you would find in a loan from the bank.Miguel nodded. It sounded good to him, almost too good.Felicia laughed. I'm not sure that you believe me, she chuckled. No, I do, I just think it sounds a bit too good to be true. I actually thought I might end up losing my business.Felicia smiled, agreeing. We get that a lot. There's no way we want to see you lose your business. We know how hard you work, and that you've invested everything in your business. We all need help sometimes. Thats what were here for.""In any case, thank you for coming to see me.""No problem - I'm just down the road. We normally do it all online but I was happy to come and visit you today, Felicia said with a smile. Let's work out a solution to your problem. And right there and then they created a business profile. Miguel filled the form out, with Felicia available to help him if he needed it. The profile filled Felicia and her company in on Timothys company, and would help them determine if he was suitable for factoring. In truth, not all companies were. Some were beyond factoring special brand of help, and sometimes things werent even dire enough for it. Listening as Miguel filled out his form, Felicia was pretty sure he was a perfect candidate for factoring.Felicia took the completed form and placed it in her briefcase. Standing up, she reached over the desk and shook Timothy's hand. He also stood up, and they smiled at each other. Miguel walked Felicia to the door where they said 'Goodbye', then he went back into his office. His employees were there, seven who worked in the office, and as he sat behind his desk once more he heard the familiar clack of fingers on keyboards, the electronic whine of the copy machine. He shut his eyes. He felt so drained: he had been flailing helplessly for so long, he just knew his business was going to collapse and probably take him with it. Talking to Felicia though, learning about factoring, it felt like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders. He relaxed into his chair, running his hand through his thick black hair with its telling streaks of grey. The long nights, where he couldnt sleep. The sudden panic attacks, not matter where he was. He could feel it all fading away. He knew it wasn't over yet and that there was still a way to go, but he could just feel everything start to change for him. He was still here; he knew this was the right path for him, and he felt proud that he had taken the appropriate steps to sort out his problems. His mind wandered back to the very beginning, when he first started his business. At twenty-two and straight out of school he had opened a restaurant. It had been really successful. Offering home cooking in his own hometown, his business had really prospered. But it wasn't what he really wanted to do. He wasn't passionate about the food industry. He thought long and hard, and then he decided to sell the restaurant. He took six months off, and during that time he decided to create Ferguson Trucking. And that's exactly what he did. For the second time in his short life he created a company from the ground up. The business had been an instant success. And then the trucks went down, and his success looked to be in flux. He was nearing fifty. He didnt think he had it in him, to save this company. But he couldnt give up. The idea of cutting his losses, shutting down, laying off his workers, it actually made him sick some nights. He didnt know how to say quit. And now, because of factoring, he was sure he wouldnt have to. Miguel opened his eyes, sat forward, turned his computer on. He had things to do. He could be thankful later, for now, it was time to work.

After all, how many establishments possess two months cash flow just occupying there to cover all their overheads till they earn?

This is particularly true of trucking establishments. They tend to take care of numbers of accounts which means a considerable quantity of collection time involves business owner themselves. Attempting to get paid in time can become an amazing inconvenience and this is the reason why you utilize trucking factoring firms who are pleased to help out truckers specifically.

As all of us determine, trucking is an amazingly huge field with a lot of companies out there utilizing hundreds of drivers. However, several of these drivers end up in money difficulties given that they are still anticipating work from six weeks ago to actually pay them. When this is the scenario for a truck business, depending on factoring providers for solutions maybe the most suitable option left.

This indicates that a trucking business can provide the wages of the personnel, keep all the trucks refilled with gas and continue to surmount, develop and expand without constantly waiting for the resources which is taking too prolonged to come in. Trucking Business enterprises operating without a factoring system implemented are leaving themselves at considerable risk, as contenders cash out quickly and carry on to expand.

There's honestly almost nothing to be distressed about when it comes to using a Factoring firm-- they usually are not like a banking company or somebody who is going to leave you with a significant mound of financial obligation to pay back. You give them authentic invoices from work you have already accomplished , you are merely accelerating the repayment system.

In the United states of America, where truck enterprises develop, factoring enterprises are not considered borrowing in any capacity. This private arrangement then lets both parties to make money and delight in a worry-free future-- it provides the factoring provider a guaranteed resource of earnings to add to the list and it gives the trucking firm the needed finances that they worked hard to get.

The trucking enterprise bestows their accounts to the factoring enterprise. The trucking factoring agency then obtain the payment amounts from the trucking company's clients. Factoring has been in existence for centuries and has been utilized for many years by a lot of various industries-- but none more so than truckers. While you might lose out on a small part of the money, something like 1-3 % depending on who you deal with, it signifies that you are receiving the finances today and can actually begin putting the funds to perform.

After all, an IOU or an invoice is not actually going to pay for expenses, is it? For trucking enterprises when the funds can be great one day and gone the next, it is up to the drivers to work prudently and to guarantee they are leaving themselves with a notable measure of time and money to get through the week up until they are paid for again.

So the next instance your trucking establishment is enduring some short-term capital problems and you are devoting too much time chasing slowly paying customers, why not begin thinking of making use of a factoring companies as a manner to get your finances and give yourself a more at ease future in the eyes of your trucking team and your bank balance?

Bank Loans

Bank loans are an extremely traditional way for a business to get financing. While these loans are handy they are not available to every business. For example, a fairly newly established business simply may not have the assets to readily get a loan from a bank, even if they do, the standard collateral for a business loan is the business itself, which means that if you cannot make your loan payment, you risk losing your entire business. In addition, while you apply for a certain loan amount, that is all the financing you are entitled to. Of course, once that loan has been re-paid, you can always re-apply for another loan.

What Are Trucking Factoring Companies?

Trucking Factoring companies do not give loans, and the money you get from the Trucking Factoring company does not put you in debt. Rather the financing you receive from a Trucking Factoring company is based on money your business has already earned, but have not yet received. The Trucking Factoring company purchases your accounts receivable, or part of them, for a certain percentage of their value - this is normally about 80-95%. The amount of finance you can receive will be based on the amount you have earned and the accounts receivable you are prepared to sell. Once you have set up Trucking Factoring account it continues as long as you wish it too and the amount of money available to you even can grow as your business grows, giving you the ready cash you need to meet your own obligations.

Benefits of a Trucking Factoring Company Vs. A Bank Loan

While not every business can take advantage of Trucking Factoring account financing (you have to have a business that has account receivables) for those that can use this type of financing there are several distinct benefits.

1. There is no debt. You do not incur debt as you do with a bank loan because the Trucking Factoring company actually purchases your accounts receivable. One of the main benefits of this kind of financing is that your business credit rating and your personal credit rating will not be affected. Should the unforeseeable happen and your business fails, you will not have to worry about anyone coming after your personal as well as your business assets to pay off a loan. The debt goes onto your credit report with a bank loan, with only one missed payment adversely affecting your business credit: it would also affect your ability to secure insurance, and may reflect on your personal credit rating as well.

2. No Collateral Required. Another great benefit of using the services of a Trucking Factoring company instead of a bank loan is that there is no collateral required for the Trucking Factoring company, because the Trucking Factoring company is buying your accounts receivables. Plus, the state of your credit rating is not an issue; however the Trucking Factoring company will run a credit check on your clients whose accounts receivable are being offered for financing. This means that it is easier for new businesses to access the finance they need through a Trucking Factoring company, providing their accounts receivable are in good order. A bank may believe you haven't been in business long enough to be able to cover this risk.

3. Receive Your Money Faster. Using a Trucking Factoring company means that you'll get the finance quicker. Once the Trucking Factoring company assures itself that the customers in your accounts receivable are likely to pay their debt, the money is usually in the account within 24 hours. With a bank, there are vast amounts of paperwork, then the loan has to be underwritten, which can take months before you actually see the loan if it is approved.

4.You receive interest up-front. Unlike a bank loan that continues to build interest that you have to pay the entire time you have your business loan with a Trucking Factoring company, you do not have to continue to pay interest as they take it right off the top, deducting it from the total amount of accounts receivable. So not only are you relieved of those monthly loan payments, but you also do not have to worry about the building up of interest, as every penny in the account is yours to spend on the business.

As you can see from the above, there are some great benefits to financing through a Trucking Factoring company, and not through a traditional bank loan. However, there are also a couple of other benefits that a factory company can offer your business is far beyond the scope of the bank. The main benefit is that once you've sold your accounts receivable to the Trucking Factoring company, you are free from having to collect money owed by your customers. Since these accounts belong to the Trucking Factoring company, this is now their job. Trucking Factoring companies are very good at collecting these debts, saving you the time and effort that you need to devote to your growing company.

In addition, since the Trucking Factoring company evaluates the credit quality of your customers prior to purchasing the accounts receivable you gain valuable information into which customers are likely to pay and which ones are not so likely to pay. While a Trucking Factoring company is not the only way for your business to obtain the money it needs to keep growing, it does offer a type of financing well worth considering.
